I can't help but reflect at this time of year, I wonder if everyone does it - is it the season? The end of one year and the start of another? Or maybe it was the years I spent in the past hoping, praying and dreaming of becoming a mom? I'm happy to have found such peace and happiness in my home and my heart.

It seems hard to believe that I was the woman who wiped tears away as I sat at church and prayed for just one child to parent and fill my world with love. It amazes me that I have been blessed beyond belief with not one but three children and now a beautiful little grand-daughter. :) It truly is the best present of all - to have a house turned upside down, stockings hanging from the fireplace, presents under the tree and cookies and milk out for Santa!

I believe Christmas in the future will not hold any additional children in our home - but know that grandchildren will be happening for YEARS to come as Becca and Jordan marry this Janauary, and Max and Logan have many years before they'll add little ones to hold and love.

Christmas 2006 - holds a digital picture frame for daddy, a watch for mommy, a new DVD video camera for the family (Becca and Jordan received our old one), portrait gift certificate for Becca and Jordan, a walker for Cali-Lynne, a Nintendo DS for Max and Star Wars toys for Logan. I was also touched as my husband was VERY close to adding a little puppy to our family for me - now let me tell you - if you knew Larry - you'd be amazed and I am very touched that he truly tried to make it happen - but little G.G. found a home prior to his call.
