If you have adopted from Kazakhstan or are in the paperwork stages — please mark your calendars to attend the 7th Annual Family Weekend – Friday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 24th. We have secured a group rate of $71.99 for families who will travel to the event at Comfort Suites Inn located in Twinsburg, OH – please call 330-963-5909 by May 24th to guarantee the group rate. To receive this rate book under the Midwest Kaz Group. These are suite rooms and include a hot breakfast buffet in the rate. We will meet at the hotel for a welcome reception on Friday, June 22nd at 6:30 PM – greet old friends and welcome new friends as you enjoy children activities, munchies and more! (You don’t need to live in the Midwest to attend – you just have to be willing to travel). 
On Saturday, June 23rd from 11AM to 4PM we will be at Sunny Lake Park in Aurora, Ohio you can visit them on the web at www.auroraoh.com/depts/parkrec/sunnylake/default.aspx – we plan on taking a guided hike with Kim from Moebius Nature Center http://www.moebiusnaturecenter.org/ – she’ll even be bringing along a few furry friends – if the timing is right! 
If you can’t attend the ENTIRE weekend – this is the day you want to be here! Kazakh Connection will be in attendance with their traditional Kazakh made dolls (shown above), nativity yurts, purses, etc – you can visit them on the web at http://www.kazakhconnection.com/ We’ll have a pot luck lunch – which the children will eat on their placemat they made. We’ll have a sack race, water balloon toss to name a few – along with time to play on the playground and visit with new and old friends. Remember your sunscreen and feel free to bring sand buckets and pails for the children to play with. Damon’s restaurant will be able to accommodate our group for dinner with separate family checks – so the fun continues on.
